Happy Birthday Olivia!

Olivia turned 5 years old today.  Our little baby girl is growing up right before our eyes and there's nothing we can do to stop her.  She is such a sweet little girl, with her sweet little voice.  She has grown so much since she has started preschool and is becoming more outgoing and excited about learning and life.  She is such a joy to have in our family.

We are Thankful!

We are grateful at this time of year for ALL that we have. We feel very blessed to have a job, health, education, a home, cars, running water, clothes, toys, family, friends, and our testimonies of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

This year we had a nice Thanksgiving dinner at home, .

Jason thought it would be fun to brine the turkey and not cook it in the bag so that's what we did and it turned out wonderful.

and then went to the Morris' for pie and a craft for the kids...Andrea always has a fun craft for our kids when we go over there. Thanks Morris'.

Happy Birthday Madilynn!

Our sweet, little Princess, turned 6 years old today.
Her birthday festivities started out on Monday when Jason took her out for her birthday date and they went to Chili's for dinner (don't know how she got so lucky but she did) and while there exclaimed that "this is my best birthday ever".
Then today she took ice cream for her class birthday treat, Austin and I went and ate lunch at school with her, she  got lots of attention from all her classmates and said with a huge smile on her face, "everyone just wants to talk to me today", she picked what she wanted for dinner (Ribs and twice baked potatoes) and then we opened presents and had cake and ice cream.

PRIVILEGE and RIGHT

We live in a GREAT country and I feel so blessed to be apart of it.  Being a part of this country brings the great privilege of voting and so today that is what I will be doing. (Jason did yesterday just incase there was a trama and couldn't get to the polls in time.)

Jason and I have a sign in our yard, we have been watching the polls and the news every night and following what is going on...and living is Iowa there is a lot going on, every commercial is political and there is a rally every other week.  We are glad it's almost over, but now we kind of wish we would had gone to a rally since we really don't know if we will be in Iowa (such a popular state when it comes to a Presidential Election) for the next election.

Here's to another Election year, go out and vote and let your voice be heard, it's a privilege and our right as citizens of the United States of America.

GO ROMNEY/RYAN!
