Our new friends here in South Dakota have already left us.  It was sad to see them go but we are happy for them and know they made the best decision for their family.  Gage and Christina invited us into their home the day we interviewed here at Sanford and have been our friends ever since.  We will miss them!

PeeWee ball

Austin played recreational baseball/peewee ball for the 1st time this summer and really enjoyed it.  Jason bought him new shoes, a bat and some balls to practice with and he already had a nice mitt we got a few years ago at a garage sale.  He did a great job for his first time playing.  Just like soccer and basketball with all the kids it's hard to know what they understand until the 1st game, so after the 1st game we went over the rules and what else he could do to be better and from then he played pretty good.  He has good hand eye coordination so he could hit the ball without the tee and he has a good arm for a 6 year old

 

 

 



History Camp

There is a little history day camp that the girls went to this year, were they learn about pioneers and do pioneer things pioneers would have done.  It is a really fun camp and it they even got their pictures in the paper. We don't take the paper so I just took a screen shot of my phone.

4th of July

 

 



Jason and I went golfing in the morning and then went out to breakfast.  Later that day I took the kids to a play at Storybook Land.  Then we had some friends come over for dessert and went to watch the fireworks.  Kind of weird they don't have a parade but it will be something we have to get used to.
