party

Austin's sweet Nursery Teachers had a nursery party last Saturday with all the nursery kids just for fun.  Austin thought it was awesome!  I told him he got to go to a party like his sisters do and that mommy would come and pick him up later, he was so excited, and kept telling everyone he was going to a Birthday party...we just let him think that. :)

When I took him he ran to his teachers with the biggest smile and never looked back.
When I picked him up he was watching a movie, eating popcorn, with all his nursery friends still with a smile on his face along with balloons, a baseball and a basketball painted on his face and  he brought home stickers and a door hanger that he had decorated.
He such a great time... as you tell by the look on his face, he thought he was the coolest boy ever.

(They were doing bubbles and sidewalk chalk when we got there, then they did face painting and other games and the craft.  They got rainned out so that's when they went in to watch the movie.)

DANCE!

Madi started dance yesterday and absolutely LOVES it!  Her favorite part was "doing the horsey races"  Her teacher thought she did a great job and wondered where she learned tendu passe..."from Savannah".  She even got sparkles on her nose for doing a great job.  The only problem is she wishes she could go ever single day. :)

1st day of Preschool...FINALLY!

Olivia has been waiting for her 1st day of preschool since Madi started last year and today it finally arrived.  She was the 1st one up, dressed and ready to go...the only problem is that she has afternoon preschool and doesn't start until 11:45am.  So all morning I had to keep telling her how many more hours until school started.

She has the same teachers that Madi had last year just at a different school and she loved it.  She was all smiles when we got there and all smiles when I picked her up.  When I asked her what her favorite part was she said, without hesitation, "snack and playing".  Her teachers said she did great and they were impressed with her art durning free time when she wrote her name in glue and then decorated it with sparkles.  Can't wait to see it after it dries for a few days :)

Austin had to get in on the fun too with his backpack on

1st day of School!

Today was the 1st day of School...
The 1st day of KINDERGARTEN for Madilynn and the 1st day of 2nd grade for Savannah

There were no tears this year, Madi was so ready to go, she started walking away without giving me a hug.  It was so fun to watch her, she walks in the room with all the confidence in the world...lets just hope it stays that way.  When I asked her what her favorite part of school was she said, "Making new friends and recess." ...that didn't surprise me at all.

Savannah looked at me while I was dropping Madi off and said, "Mom can I just go?" So off she went.  I did go back to check on her and get a picture of her at her desk...do you think she will let me do that in Middle School? :)

Overall it was a great day and so far they really like it!

On the Road

And after a FUN trip everyone was exhausted...

Luckily Jason caught up on sleep and wasn't exhausted and drove the whole way home.
We left Bear Lake Sunday at 4:20am and got home at 8:30pm.
It's always fun to go see family and always fun to come home.

The Final few days of vacation

We spent the last few days with my family up at Bear Lake, since Jason had never seen any of the girls waterski and we couldn't remember the last time he was up there.  We decided to just go up there the last part of our trip and leave from there.  The other good thing was Jason's family was coming up to Bear Lake for a family vacation the day before we were to leave so we had both families together on the last day to finish up a great summer vacation. Thanks to everyone for all they did for us and taking time out to be with us during our trip.  WE LOVE YOU ALL!

We drove by the new Brighma City Temple on our way up.

Austin Finally got to drive the Tracker again...he's only been waiting a year to do it again

From all of this the only thing he has to show for it is a pulled hamstring and some broken ribs.

Olivia showed her dad that she could waterski...and earned another $10.  Disspite what the pictures show she said she had more fun this time since the water was smoother

Our tubing boy.  He wanted to ski so bad but still doesn't know how his life jacket works so we had to hold him off no matter how hard he begged and cried, so instead we put him in the tubes and he loved them...just like his dad

"angy birds" on grandpa's ipad, another favorite

After he saw his grandpa and daddy wear helmets on there big long 4-wheeling trip Austin put one on and wouldn't take it off.  He was so dang cute and looked like a complete Nerd at the same time.  Here he is with his shoes on the wrong feet, Mater Jammies, helmet and the cutiest smile around.  He loves to ride the 4-wheelers with his grandpa and daddy

To break it up a little we went over to the Pool at Ideal Beach one day.  Madi meet a little boy friend and played almost all day with him it as really cute.  Here he is helping Madi out of the water.
His brother and Savannah started playing too but then Savannah was turned off when he said, "Soooo do you have a boyfriend?"
Savannah: "No"
the boy: "Well you do now!"
Savannah: blank stare
the boy: "just kidding"
She came over and told me and then my mom and we never saw her playing with him again.

Saturday when EVERYONE in both our familes were there:

Exhausted after 3 1/2 weeks of FUN!

Last night Tate finally warmed up to us and all the girls had to hold him for a picture

Jason's Vacation started

After we were in Utah 2 1/2 weeks Jason flew in Saturday, August 4th.  I picked him up from the airport then we went on a date to the new City Creek Mall in Salt Lake.  We were all glad to finally see him and he was glad to finally get a break from work.

The first part of the week we spend it with Jason's family: hanging out, seeing Grandparents, going shopping at the Park City outlets and IKEA.

We also went to Grandpa Dave's work in Salt Lake and went to lunch.  The kids had a great time seeing him and where he works.
