you know your really tired when...

you sleep through your alarm for 40 minutes.

Jason had been working nights this past month, last week he set his alarm for 2pm so he could go to work again at 4:30pm but when I walked in the room at 2:40pm the alarm was going off and he was still on his side of the bed (which means he didn't roll over to push snooze or reset it for another time.)... Good thing this month is over.

one of my favorite things...

is to hold my kids hands. I love to feel their soft sweet hands in mine and the bonding that comes with it. I decided to take take pictures of their sweet innocent hands before I forget how sweet they really are and before they are too big and cool for me to hold them any more.

can't get enough

This little boy is so happy all the time and I just can't get enough of him. He is growing up too fast though and I really don't want this year to end just becasue I want to keep him a baby forever. I am so grateful to be his mom, what a blessing he is in our family.

"Bees"

Savannah started a little city soccer league for 6 weeks every Saturday. Yesterday was her first day...she LOVED it but while we were all getting ready to go she started crying saying she didn't want to go because there were going to be more than 2 kids on the team (apparently when she plays soccer at recess she only plays with 2 kids)...I told her she couldn't say she didn't like it until she tried it. Once we got there she was just fine, she wasn't afraid to run after the ball and kick it. She really wasn't too bad for her first time.
After Jason took her to buy a soccer ball so he can work with her and she can practice. There is just one problem it has been raining and Jason doesn't have much time and so I told her I would help her a little bit until dad has time...she doesn't really like that idea and told me she didn't want me to help her. When I asked her why she answered, "dad is more like a coach." I can't argue with that.

Heaven

The picture isn't as good as it was in person but Last night I saw a little bit of Heaven, it was beautiful. I picture this is what it is going to look like when the Savior comes again.
Even Savannah ran to take a picture of it with her camera before she knew I had taken one.
It was BEAUTIFUL!

1st day of Preschool

we had to take a "1st day of school" picture

I decided instead of putting my girls in preschool that I would do preschool at home with them 2 days a week. We started yesterday and they where so excited, in fact when we started to walk Savannah to school, Olivia said, "Mom I want to walk (instead of ride in the wagon) because I am going to school."

I know I really don't need to be doing this since Madilynn still has 2 years until Kindergarten and Olivia 3 years. But I think it will be good for me to take time out and sit down with my kids and just teach them. The more kids I have the harder it is to divide my time, I think this will help me set the time aside so that I can help Madi learn her name, numbers and alphabet (they both already know there colors and shapes) and if Olivia get ahead start it is not going to hurt.

They LOVED the first day and had to show Savannah all that they did when she got home.
So I think it will be great if we can keep it up.

mowing

Every time Jason mows the lawn the girls (especially Olivia) get really excited and love to watch him. Well he has started to let them mow with him for a couple rows and they think it is the GREATEST thing.
(Savannah doesn't get too excited any more and has only done it once...I think she knows that she will have many more days by herself mowing the lawn...and not by choice.)

Nothing better than mowing the lawn with your dad in your tu-tu.
