Walking

My baby now knows how to walk. She practiced and practiced while we were in Utah and then a few days after we got home she took off and now won't stop...

until I try to take her picture.

January 2009

grandma and grandpa Jensen

On New Year Day, Grandpa and Grandma Jensen (Jason's Parents) took Savannah, Madilynn and myself sleding (Jason stayed home with Olivia). The girls loved it. There is not much sledding in Iowa, it is too cold. So since neither of the girls had ever been we bundled up and went for a ride.

sometimes they used a tube...

other times they didn't.

(Sorry Josh maybe you can come next year)

We also went to Kangroo Zoo again, since we had so much fun there in the summer.

Jason, myself and some of Jason's family went to see Body Worlds & The Story of the Heart at the Leonardo in Salt Lake. It was really cool and of course Jason loved every second and explained it to his mom and anyone else around him. We wish we would of had more time but it was so crowed, late and we had to get home to the kids.

On January 15th we got tickets to go the open house of the Draper Utah Temple and take Savannah and Madilynn. Savannah was so excited to go inside the temple. It was a neat experience for the family.

Grandpa and Grandma Gardner (my parents) took all the grandkids swimming. They had a great time. Savannah told me before we got there that she was not going to jump in, well by the end that was all she was doing all by herself with her life jacket... maybe the swimming lessons are paying off.

Savannah and Riley

We had a great time in Utah for 5 weeks... it is always sad to say goodbye but nice to be home. Savannah put it well when she said, "how come we can't live in Utah and Iowa?"...maybe some day we will live closer.?
