Pumpkin

Pumpkin was our cat that only lasted one week.  She was a very scared cat and was always running a hiding.  Our neighbor was trying to find it a nice house so we decided to give it a try but they weren't sure how she would be around children.  We had her a week and then she started hissing and running around all crazy so we had to call our neighbor and send her back.  It was very sad because the kids had taken such good care of her and really loved her but in the end she just didn't love us.

Snow Skiing -Spring Break

We went snow skiing for Spring Break this year, March 15-18 in MN.  This was the kids first time skiing.  We rented a cabin on a lake for a three nights.  We went shopping the 1st day since the resort was closed and then skied for two days straight. It was the last week the ski resort was open for the season so there wasn't much snow around but it was perfect for the kids since it was there first time.  Jason took them on the bunny hill a few time and taught them the basics and then they were ready for the bigger hills.  We all had a great time.  It was nothing like Utah Resorts but for beginners it was perfect.  They all thought they were awesome because they went down all the hills even the MN black diamonds.

After two long days of skiing the 3 hour car ride home was a nice place to take a nap.
