We (meaning me and the kids, Jason was working) rang in the New Year with a party...had pizza, watched Smurfs, then around 8:23pm we had a count down, blew our party blowers, sprayed silly string and danced to "Party Rock". The kids loved it! I don't think we have ever really had a count down with the kids so this might just have to become a tradition.
