The past few months have been the "last time" things we did in Iowa and how much we are going to miss them.  Now the next year is going to consist of the "first time" things we did in South Dakota and what a new adventure it is.

So here is our first time at the _____________ Aquatic Center.

It was really cool and the kids had a great time trying out all the new slides and other activities.

Suprise waiting in the garage

 

Before we left Iowa we got rid of all the kids bikes.  It was very sad with lots of tears as we sold them at our garage sale or gave them to friends.  But we told the kids we would buy them new bikes that actually fit them when we got to our new house.  So when we opened the garage to the new house, after our long drive home, there the bikes were waiting for them.  They were so excited and jump right on them and started riding. :)
