bastketball
Savannah decided she wanted to try playing basketball this winter. Practices were on Tuesdays at 7pm for an hour and started in December, they took a break during the holidays and then games started in January on Saturdays. She even got lucky and had a little girl in our ward on her team too. I was lucky too because they took Savannah to most of the practices. She really enjoyed it. She did a good job too for her first time playing. Sometimes during the week we would take her to the YMCA to practice and Jason gave her some pointers too. It as fun to see how much she improved as she had practices and games each week. She made 1-2 baskets a few of the games and then her last game she made 3 baskets which was almost half of what her whole team made altogether. She was so excited! She wants to play again next year.
And here is one of Savannah's cheerleaders with a sign that reads, "my sisttr plays baskitdall Go blou Savannah."

Sledding
It is so cold here, there are not a lot of sledding hills and by the time it's warm enough to even sled it melts too fast...so lets just say we don't go sledding that often. There was finally a little warm up today so we hurried out to sled. The sledding hills we wanted to go on were already melted so we ended up at the school sledding on the snow they pushed out of the parking lot...you do what you have to do. The kids LOVED it though and enjoyed every minute.

36th Birthday
36 didn't start out that great. I woke up sick in bed with a fever and a horrible cough. Later I took some ibuprofen and my fever finally broke then I felt a little better. But I spent the day on the couch with Austin watching TV most the day.
By the time Jason got home I was doing a lot better. He brought home a cake, ordered pizza and we opened presents. It turned out to be a nice night.
I got lots of nice messages from family and friends, some mystery flowers from someone (Thank you to who ever you are). Cinnamon rolls and treats from my friend, Alisha. Money and presents from parents. The kids gave me my favorite candy, fingernail polish and made me cards. Then Jason was embarrassed by my phone so he got me a new smart phone and he also pick me out some new workout shoes.
Thank you everyone for making my birthday special.
