Olivia is 22 months old.
This last month she has become very independent and has a fun personality when she wants too.
she tries to dress herself and gets mad when I tell her she can't put her shirt on her legs,
she also clears her plate, which is great but some times it gets scarry when she still has food on it and won't let anyone help her and then there is a trail of food from the table to the sink,
she likes to brush her teeth by herself and screams when I help.
she teases her sisters
she likes to do what her sisters do.
she puts the dirty clothes in the laundry.
throws away her garbage
she gets on all fours, meows like a cat and hangs around my legs
she also likes her sisters to put a leash on her and walk her around like a dog
and puts her toys away when asked (unlike her sisters)
when someone else is getting there picture taken she needs to stand right by them so now most of our pictures have some part of Olivia in them.
every time someone calls she whines until I let her talk to them. But it is really cute when she walks around the house with the play phones talking to her daddy while carrying her baby.
she loves to read books, sing and dance. The other night I told her she had music for FHE, her eyes lite up as I gave her the song book. Then she smilied the whole time we where singing.
She is a mommy's girl and has a hard time being left alone without me.
She is also really shy and when people try to talk to her the puts on a shy face and won't smile.
I wish she would let everyone see what a fun, sweet, little girls she is, like I see every day.
She is doing better in nursery on Sundays, I just get her excited on Saturday and Sunday morning, so she knows what is going to happen and then when the time comes I drop her off...she does cry for a minute but she now understands I do come back.
Time out works great for her.
She is a little slow on talking, but is doing better (Jason's not so sure, he thinks I am in denial).
This age is one of my favorite ages, they will do anything you ask them and do it with a smile (for the most part).
Olivia is such a great addition to our family. She brings so much joy into our lives.
We Love Her!
