3 1/2 weeks of FUN in Utah

We just got home from Utah after being there for 3 1/2 weeks.  The kids and I drove out on Wednesday, July 18th, we left at 5:10am and arrived at Bear Lake at 9:00pm.  We all did good and I would definatly do it again (the last two hours where the worst part for me, I was so ready to be there other than that I only remember two times when it got bad and it didn't even last long)

We spent the first few days in Bear Lake (July 18th - July 24th)

Summerfest 2012

 We tried out the kiddie Parade this year and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be...the girls picked out their own outfits for it and we decorated their bikes.

Ankeny Day of Play

Our little town had a day of play with all kinds of things for kids for free so we thought we would go check it out.

Olivia won the potato sack race!

They all liked hitting the baseball with the bat and kicking the football

Olivia was our best soccer player...Austin was a close second

They had a whole bunch of different trucks, police vehicles, trackers, etc for the kids to climb on.

Then after playing with legos, painting our legs, we did a little yoga! 

It was a fun night and even though we didn't get to do everything the kids really enjoyed trying new things.

Annual Ward Breakfast at the Park

We feel very blessed to live in a free country. I love this time of year when we can reflect on all that our Founding Father's went through for this country, all the men and women who sacrificed to make us free and those who keep us free.

We didn't go see fireworks because they were too far away, Jason had to go to bed and our city is doing them in a few weeks, So I pulled out the classic SNAKES and SPARKLERS and we had a great time with those!

Yesterday we went to the Cascade Falls Aquatic Center and had a great time with Friends.
