January 7th - March 11th the kids have been playing Upward basketball, it is a basketball program through the First United Methodist Church. They have really had a great time. It was everyone's first time playing except Savannah's. They each had practice for 1 hour a week and then the games were Friday nights and Saturday mornings. It was fun to watch them improve each week and enjoy playing the game.
Olivia did an awesome job and towards the end made a lot of baskets. One game she scored 24 points! She did a great job trying to get open and was always ready for the ball.
Jason got to ref some of Madi and Savannah's games. The girls liked having him ref even though he called things on them. :)
Madi did a great job! She scored a few points every game and was a great bounce passer.
Savannah did a great job too. She ran that court faster than anyone and was always ready for a long pass. She scored a few points a game too.
Austin did a great job and had fun getting out there. He made a few baskets and really learned how to dribble the ball well.
Overall they all had a great year!
